We went to a new park for Piper this weekend. I used to take the kids I nannied for there years ago. They have a little kids section just for toddlers and a big kid area, but we went to both of them. I think she was intimidated by all the kids. It was very busy with several large groups of people having picnics there at the same time.

Don't Tell Me I'm Too Little

**This is not the exact angled ladder she climbed up. The one she climbed had another horizontal rung at the very top, which caused a little hiccup in her climbing even though she made it to the ledge eventually.

Hiking at Holliday Park

The park also has an amazing playground, and Piper had fun climbing and playing. I think she will really like the "spiderweb" when she gets a little older. It is basically monkey bars made out of rope that is shaped like a pyramid. We didn't go into the nature center this time. I'll have to make sure we have time to go there in the future.

At the Mall
As I am typing this my daughter is yelling over the balcony at the dog she saw earlier. The dog is not longer there, but she thinks he is somewhere but can't figure out where. I keep hoping she'll learn the word dog soon, but so far no luck.
Today we went to the mall and I did a little bit of shopping. She had fun playing on the indoor playground, crawling through tunnels and mostly watching the other kids. Towards the end she kept stealing this deaf lady's water bottle, which the lady found humorous at least. I told her I was sorry and surprised myself by remembering how to say it in sign language even.
